The New Israel Fund in the UK was established 25 years ago to champion a vision of an Israel true to our core human values of inclusiveness, equality, and justice. And together, we are making progress. Arab citizens are fully engaged in the struggle for civil rights. Women are gaining a strong, central voice in public life. LGBTQ Israelis have reached an unprecedented level of inclusion and are active participants in civil society. By taking to the courts and the streets, by nurturing social change and civil society organisations, and by supporting coalitions of disparate groups who share similar goals, NIF has steadily changed life in Israel for the better. In the decades ahead, achieving that vision will be NIF’s legacy.
