Human Rights Awards Dinner 2019
We are thrilled to welcome you to our Annual Human Rights Award Dinner on Sunday 3rd November, 2019.
You can book your tickets below:
This year’s inspiring Human Rights Awards Winners are:
Tebeka’s mission is to eradicate discrimination in Israeli society.
Established in 2000, Tebeka (Amharic for ‘Advocate of Justice’) is the leading organisation fighting to empower the 125,000 strong Ethiopian community in Israel and working to combat racism and discrimination for all minority groups.
Through their legal assistance Tebeka has won over 7,100 cases of racial discrimination.
The organisation continues to lobby successfully for concrete policy change that will bring about an end to systematic and casual racism in Israel.
PHR – Israel
At the very core of Physicians for Human Rights Israel is the belief that everyone living under Israeli authority should have equal access to healthcare.
Supported by over 3,500 volunteer doctors, nurses and therapists, Physicians for Human Rights Israel delivers vital healthcare assistance to more than 20,000 people living in Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza every year. These include West Bank Palestinians, disenfranchised Jewish Israelis from the periphery, prisoners from every background, and people seeking asylum.
PHR also advocates for meaningful policy change that will bring about long-term, substantive improvements in health care for disadvantaged groups.
These winners exemplify NIF’s commitment to building an Israeli society that is based on equality and justice: a society that strives to protect human rights and democratic values.
Also joining us on the night is Professor David N Myers, NIF global president.
We would like to remind you that our New Gen tickets are limited so New Gen supporters should book early to avoid disappointment.
