Join us for our upcoming webinar, Occupation 101 with Becca Strober, an online webinar exploring what the Israeli occupation is, how it functions, and why it matters, on Monday, 16th June, from 6:30–8:00 pm (UK).

This webinar is designed to be informative and thought-provoking, as well as interactive.  Participants are encouraged to bring their questions and perspectives.

The session will dive into the background of the occupation and the origins of differing rules and standards. We will break down terms like ‘Area C’, ‘Hilltop Youth’, and more, while exploring the mechanisms that sustain the system.

Becca Strober was most recently a senior director at the Israeli organisation Breaking the Silence, where they also worked as the Director of Education. They were an Educational Coordinator at the organisation Sadaka-Reut between 2016 and 2018. Becca is a co-founder of Midreshet Dror (Freedom School) for this generation of young organisers and community leaders. They have also co-created and run two dozen seminars for Israeli educators, students, and Jewish communities. In a moment when biased and inaccurate information is easily spread online and in person, they bring clear, well-sourced information and quality in-depth education to Jewish and Israeli communities so that we can all work towards a just, dignified, and equal future for Israelis and Palestinians.
