Choose NIF. Choose Humanity.

Rebuilding Communities Affected by 7 October Attacks

NIF helped correct an injustice, securing £232 million in government funding for rebuilding and trauma support in communities originally left out of recovery funding. With the Kibbutz Movement and youth movements, we also helped ensure that kibbutzim devastated by the Hamas attack can begin rebuilding and restore a sense of normality.

The Hostages and Missing Families Forum, supported by NIF, led one of the most effective civil struggles since the founding of the State of Israel. For us, this pride comes with responsibility as we continue working towards a society rooted in justice and peace. (Shira Ben-Sasson, NIF Acting CEO, Israel).

Protecting Palestinian Communities in the West Bank

2025 saw the highest number of violent settler attacks in nearly two decades:

  • Over 1,770 attacks recorded – an average of 5 a day.
  • Over 1,000 Palestinians and Israeli activists were injured
  • Many Palestinians have been displaced from their homes

Together with our partners, we:

  • Protected Palestinian families from settler attacks
  • Documented settler violence and drew media attention
  • Assisted dozens of families during the olive harvest

NIF’s Occupied Palestinian Territories Activists Support Programme

We continued to back hundreds of activists through de-escalation and community safety training, Arabic language skills and mental resilience support, helping them cope with sustained violence while preventing burnout and trauma.

Gaza Aid Appeal

NIF raised over £2.3 million globally for our partners World Central KitchenClean Shelter and the International Rescue Committee, providing life-saving aid such as food, water, medical supplies and shelter to civilians in Gaza. This campaign also generated widespread coverage by mainstream media and raised awareness of the crisis within the Israeli public, at a time when few in Israel were willing to confront it.
