We are thrilled to be bringing a powerful selection of works from Israel’s leading photojournalism exhibition, Local Testimony (Edut Mekomit), to London for a limited time. This curated collection of still images and short films offers an unfiltered look at a turbulent year in Israeli society.
Spanning conflict with Iran, the ongoing war in Gaza, mass protests, the return of hostages, and deepening internal divisions, the exhibition captures the human stories behind the headlines. Featuring work by acclaimed Israeli and Palestinian photographers, it provides a rare and intimate perspective on events as they unfolded.
A special evening showing of the exhibition on Thursday 11 June, from 18:30- 20:00, will explore the state of Israeli journalism and the challenges facing press freedom today, with guest speaker Dr Ayala Panievsky, in conversation with Haaretz Global Editor Noa Landau.
Visitors are also invited to attend the exhibition during the day, where curator Dana Wohlfeiler-Lalkin and Haaretz photographer Tomer Appelbaum will be in residence to guide audiences through the collection.
The exhibition runs from 10–12 June in Hoxton, London.
We are proud to host this event in collaboration with Local Testimony (Edut Mekomit).
