NIF works to transform Israel’s founding ideal of complete equality for all into reality, and to protect the human rights of all people living under Israel’s control.

VACCINES
We ensured the Covid-19 vaccine was accessible to everyone in Israel, with or without health insurance, including asylum seekers and migrants.

WATER
We have provided sustainable access to water by connecting homes in outlying or underprivileged areas to the national system. This is vital resource is still not accessible to all in Israel. Earlier this year we connected the residences of shepherds in the Jordan Valley, providing significant opportunities for their families and livelihoods.

ELECTRICITY
We ensured that electricity was restored to 50,000 homes that, due to the ongoing economic effects of the pandemic, could not afford to pay their bills on time.

HOUSING
We suspended eviction notices and supported public housing residents in difficult situations, leading to wider systemic changes. During the recent elections we got housing on the political agenda and already have support from the new “change coalition” to address this need.
