Mikhael will be in conversation with Alona Ferber.

Alona is the newly appointed senior editor at Prospect Magazine, a monthly current affairs magazine edited by Alan Rusbridger, having recently left her role as senior editor of Spotlight, the New Statesman special policy section and supplement.  She specialises in coverage of Israel and Palestine and was formerly a senior news editor and reporter for Haaretz. She writes on politics and policy. As well as her specialist coverage of Israel, she interviews major public figures such as Tony Blair and Sheryl Sandberg. Her newsletter, The Backlash, covers the struggle for gender equality.

Our conversation will explore the themes of religious extremism, defending democracy, arab-jewish partnership and finding hope and a way forward during the current war.

The event will be taking place between 7:30-9:00 pm. It will be held in NW8. The exact location will be sent out a few days before the event.
