ACRI helps Holocaust survivors stop eviction

Yesterday, on Holocaust Memorial Day, we learnt that the proposed eviction of 45 survivors and WWII veterans from assisted living housing units has been prevented following their long campaign with NIF flagship grantee the Association for Civil Rights in Israel (ACRI).

“Initially, the ministry refused to answer the residents’ questions and didn’t respond either to the Association for Civil Rights in Israel, which has been helping the residents fight the decision”. Read more about this story on the Haaretz website here.
