We held our flagship Human Rights Awards event: Rising Stars on Sunday 10 November.
This Rising Stars evening featured superb, thought-provoking, and current content in an immersive setting. It was followed by a relaxed reception with delicious bowl food.
It was an immersive and uplifting evening that celebrated our inspiring Award Winners and united a community committed to equality and justice in Israel.
We showcased the work of young rising stars in Israeli civil society, our exceptional Award Winners, Rawyah Handaqlu (Emergency Headquarters to Combat Crime and Violence in Arab Society) and Eran Nissan (Mehazkim), and heard from them directly about how they’re creating change and bringing hope.
They joined us in person in London in conversation with CNN ‘Amanpour’ journalist, +972 co-founder, and Israel24 TV anchor Ami Kaufman.
Guiding us through the evening was award-winning comedian and activist Noam Shuster-Eliassi, known for her viral performance of ‘Dubai, Dubai’. You can watch her talk about decades of peace activism here.
Thank you to those who joined us for this unforgettable celebration of our work and values and the encouragement of Israeli leaders of the future.
