In celebration of the Vivian Silver Awards, the New Israel Fund is supporting a project that carries forward Vivian Silver’s life’s work: building a shared and equal society between Jewish and Arab citizens of Israel.

The Vivian Silver Centre for Shared Society, led by AJEEC–NISPED in the Negev, will be a hub for dozens of small Arab and shared society social organisations, who will find a welcoming collaborative space where they can network, develop initiatives, and share resources. Through career training, mentorship and collaborative programmes, the new centre will drive forward AJEEC-NISPED’s work to help thousands of young adults access higher education, meaningful employment and leadership opportunities.

The centre will also provide a shared space for social initiatives, educators and community leaders working together to strengthen Arab–Jewish partnership and advance equality in the Negev.
