Support Israelis and Palestinians through this war
Since 7th October we at the New Israel Fund have been working with our colleagues and partners in Israel to protect and provide for all communities – Jewish and Palestinian – living in Israel.
We were also among the first and most generous to support the Hostages and Missing Families Forum.
More recently we have increased our support for Israelis demanding their government to do more to save lives in Gaza. We have expanded our funding to the leaders and organisations doing the hard longer-term work to bring about a safer future for Israelis and Palestinians.
An inspiring example comes from our grantees Standing Together, who are running a Humanitarian Guard to ensure aid reaches Gaza.
In recent days there were the first rocket attacks targeting the centre of Israel in four months.
The scenes of those killed and injured in Rafah were harrowing and heartbreaking.
In the face of this ongoing and deteriorating war, you can join us in supporting Israelis AND Palestinians.
Join Israelis Sending Aid to Gaza
The New Israel Fund has launched an effort to raise urgent funds to provide humanitarian aid through World Central Kitchen (WCK) and the International Rescue Committee (IRC).
These are world-renowned organisations working to feed people in desperate need. They need our support.
Our colleagues in Israel, team members and lay leaders, Jewish and Palestinian citizens, have initiated this appeal to offer Israelis – and supporters of Israel around the world – a way to respond to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
Israelis have raised over 2 million shekels, and globally we have raised over $750,000.

Support work towards a safer shared future for Israelis and Palestinians
Alongside our crisis work and more immediate support for all communities in Israel, we are expanding our funding for longer-term and collaborative initiatives in education, community leadership and diplomacy.
Israelis and Palestinians need this war to end as soon as possible and both peoples and the region need leaders and ideas that can move from the horrors of war towards a future where everyone can live in security and with dignity and freedom.
